"Spring Festival"

Dear Parents:
This week we have been celebrating our Spring Festival with all the children of Early Years.
Yesterday was the final of Poetry and English Song and today we have received good news,we got the 1st. place of the song in english,our song "Go away big green mounters" was the best of all the Pre Kinder .We also have obtained the 2nd. place in poetry,the winner was Camila Melendez ,so we are so happy for all the achievements that my children have gotten during the Spring Festival.
Today,we also had the "HAT DAY" and we cooked pizza together!!We spent great moments!!

Queridos papitos:
Les cuento que estamos realizando el proyecto "El niño estrella" que en inglés sería "Star Student".Semanalmente un niño es elegido por sus compañeros por los logros realizados dentro y fuera del aula.
Este proyecto nos permitirá afianzar el desarrollo socio-emocional,la tolerancia a la espera,el compartir y el liderazgo dentro de las actividades.
En estas dos semanas,hemos podido notar que los niños están super emocionados con el proyecto ya que saben que al ser niños estrellas,serán los primeros en participar,en hacer la fila,en ayudarnos con el orden y comportamiento de sus compañeritos.

"Trabajando con Títeres"

Queridos papitos:

Les cuento que esta semana sus niños y yo hemos estado trabajando en Tutoría el tema de los temores y una manera muy lúdica de hablar sobre ellos, es a través de los títeres. Pudimos compartir sus miedos en grupo y muchos de ellos se sorprendieron al ver que no eran los únicos en tenerlos. Luego los pudimos plasmar en dibujos y entendieron que muchos de ellos son producto de nuestra imaginación.Por otro lado, mis lindos Wombats han aprendido muchas canciones tanto en inglés como en español,las cuales seguramente las han estado cantando en casa en estos días.
Aquí les muestro un pequeño video de ellos con sus títeres.La canción es muy simple pero linda a la vez.

Clean up song!

Dear parents:
As you know, habits are the most important things in the life of our kids. They can increase their self control and independence as children, if they use routines. It is necessary that you make a routine schedule at home every month. For example, time to rest after school, time to do the homework, time to play and bedtime early at night. For that reason, clean up is a routine that we have to reinforce every single day during their duties as a child.
Every day we practice and reinforce habits during classes and when we do it, we sing this song:"Clean up"

My first day at Wombats!

Hello dear Wombats,
Last March 1st was our first day of school. We shared amazing moments. We sang many songs with our puppet "Chimuelo" and we got to know each other. We also learnt how to say:"Mi name is..." and "Hello".
I´m so happy to be your teacher this year because you are a wonderful group.
